Solid mechanics for getting more Google reviews and answering them without a person doing it. The collection channels are the strength; the thing to scrutinise before buying is where the review-request flow sits relative to Google's own policies.

What works

  • Collection across text, QR, contactless tags, and customer records
  • Automated review responses that actually get sent consistently
  • Free trial with full access and no card required

What doesn't

  • Review-gating posture isn't documented — verify it during the trial
  • Narrow scope: Google reviews, not wider reputation management

Reviewly does two jobs: it asks your customers for Google reviews through whichever channel reaches them, and it drafts replies to the reviews that arrive. The collection side is the more developed half — text-message invitations, QR codes and contactless tags for physical locations, printed plates, and bulk sends from your customer records. For a multi-location service business, that channel spread is genuinely useful, and the response automation removes a task that otherwise never gets done consistently.

AI-drafted replies are a reasonable fit here, because review responses are formulaic and public-facing rather than sensitive. Read them before they post anyway; a generic reply to a specific complaint reads worse than no reply.

The diligence item is policy. Google's rules prohibit selectively soliciting positive reviews or filtering unhappy customers out of the request flow, and vendors in this category vary in how carefully they stay on the right side of that line. Reviewly's public materials do not address the question directly, so ask during the trial: what exactly does a customer see, and does anyone get routed away from leaving a public review? A platform-policy problem lands on your listing, not the vendor's.
